WASHINGTON, DC, October 3, 2023 — The Cyber Threat Alliance (CTA), a nonprofit organization working to improve the cybersecurity of the global digital ecosystem, today announced that North Dakota Information Technology is joining the alliance as a Contributing Ally partner.  As part of its mission to support the disruption of malicious cyber activity and to raise the level of cybersecurity across the digital ecosystem, CTA collaborates with a broad range of organizations. Our Contributing Allies program allows partners to have a broad, formalized, and ongoing relationship with CTA across various areas of mutual interest. These partnerships involve collaboration on cyber incidents and key cybersecurity topics.

“CTA is pleased to welcome the State of North Dakota to our Contributing Ally program,” said Michael Daniel, President and CEO of the Cyber Threat Alliance. “Cyber threats affect all levels of government and fostering collaboration between states and other cybersecurity organizations benefits everyone. We look forward to working with North Dakota Information Technology (NDIT) to raise the level of cybersecurity across the digital ecosystem.”

“The state of North Dakota is excited to partner with CTA,” said Michael Gregg, CISO of North Dakota. “Having the most relevant, actionable intelligence about adversaries helps our Security Operation Center (SOC) predict and protect against nation-state attacks and other persistent cyber adversaries that could disrupt state services.”
